We are Julie Duckworth, a chartered surveyor, and Sue Pope, an experienced surveyor. We bring our combined expertise and local knowledge to property services - be it property search or rental management.
We founded Duckworth Pope in 2011 after spending many years working for international firms of residential and commercial property agents.
We moved to this area in 2001 and 1999 respectively, and since then have built up an in-depth knowledge of the local market, as well as a network of contacts with lawyers, surveyors, architects, designers, builders, decorators and handymen - all of whom we are happy to put at your disposal.
Sue Pope BSc Est Man
Since moving to Haslemere from Putney with her young family in 1999, Sue has developed an in depth knowledge of the local housing market as well as the amenities which influence relocation decisions such as schools, leisure and cultural facilities.
Sue is well connected to local agents, developers and homeowners and as a result often sources properties prior to them reaching the open market.
When Sue isn't working she enjoys mountain biking in the magnificent South Downs National Park, walking, tennis, golf, and attending local events such as the polo at Cowdray and racing at Goodwood.
Julie Duckworth BSc MRICS
Julie raised a young family in Clapham before relocating to Haslemere in 2001, where her family has been educated and grown up.
Julie is also a qualified tennis coach who plays and teaches locally. She is an avid walker and mountain biker with a good local knowledge of the magnificent local Surrey terrain.
Her detailed knowledge of housing, schools, sports facilities in the Surrey, Hampshire and West Sussex area is second to none and a valuable resource for those considering relocation to these areas. In her professional capacity she is an able valuer and has a considerable depth of property knowledge in the counties lying to the southwest of the capital.
